Mother's corsages/flowers

So, my mom does not want a pin on corsage because it would ruin her dress, but she also doesn't really want a wrist corsage because she finds them too matronly. Any other suggestions? I have no clue!

something called a tussy mussy (or the other way around) it is a victorian thing, but if you google them it is basically a small bouquet.  sounds like it could work for you

    We're doing tussy mussies.

I think that a nosegay would be too big.

My mom was initially concerned about that too. She's young and hip and doens't look like she has a daughter getting married. The florist assured her that a corsage wasn't too matronly. Our moms are getting gardenias. Maybe the florist could do a corsage that doesn't look traditional using an unexpected color or flower.

My florist does magnets instead of pins! What a great idea right?! So much easier since most people don't know how to pin them on anyway, haha :)

My florist suggested a small bouquet of flowers.
