I have been drafting my vows and wanted to get everyone's thoughts on them. My fiance and I decided we would do 9 "I promise..." statements and then end with "Thank you for marrying me."Let me know what you guys think!
I promise to comfort you during football season when the Redskins lose, and try not to mention that the Giants are a better team.
I promise to always listen to what you have to say and try to understand you, even when I don’t agree.
I promise to try at least one bite of any recipe you create, no matter how nervous it makes me.
I promise to continue loving you for the rest of my life because you are the most honest, funny, patient, and caring man I have ever met.
I promise to always be your video game partner and try not to kill you when I accidentally shoot my rocket launcher.
I promise to always put socks on before complaining that I’m cold.
I promise to work at our love and always make you a priority in my life.
I promise to scratch your back any time you ask, and cuddle with you as often as possible.
But most of all, I promise to love you, trust you, and respect you under any circumstances; happy or sad, easy or difficult, through the darkest and brightest times in our life.
