Waterbury to Ansonia baby shower venue?

Hi Ladies,
I know you all are great resources.  I am throwing a baby shower for a friend who lives in Ansonia and was looking for budget-friendly options that would be down Route 8 corridor from Waterbury to Ansonia.  Waterbury area would be the best since I-84 goes through there.

I am open to restaurants/hotels/inns with private rooms and am looking to have a lunch or brunch for 25-30 people at less than $20 per person.  I am paying for this with no other help so I am trying keep costs down.  I'd also be interested in room rentals where I can bring in food.

My friend is very laid back and not fancy at all. . .

    I've been to showers at The Hills in Waterbury- very pretty location on a golf course, close to the highways. I'm not sure of pricing though as I've never hosted a party there myself. Jesse Camille's in Naugatuck is also nice for banquets/showers and is pretty reasonably priced.

    La Bella Vista in Waterbury has great food. I am not positive how it is priced but I'm sure it's customizable.  That's where I'm planning to have my bridal shower!

    I just had my bridal shower at Vazzy's Cucina of Shelton and we are having our rehearsal dinner there as well. It is literally right off of Route 8, they have a private room, and are great to work with!

    I am not sure if they serve brunch though. My shower was at noon and we had a buffet lunch. If you have any questions about them just let me know! :)
