Need help!! What bridesmaid dress would go with this dress?

So I am clueless about what sort or bridesmaid dresses I should be looking for. I have talked to my girls and they all say since I'm the fashionable one of the group, I should pick it and they will wear it. Wonderful girls BUT I am kinda stumped since there sizes range from 0-24! I have four girls and I want everyone to be comfortable. I have looked at a ton of dresses online and when I found my wedding dress. So I would love some help in getting ideas of styles that would look nice on all body types.  So there is my dress below. What type of bridesmaid dress would go with this or do they even have to?!
Thanks!!!

First of all... your dress is GORGEOUS!!

I have a similar style dress (strapless, mermaid silouette) and I have 5 bridemaids that are all VERY different shape also.  I picked 5 different dresses which are all going to be the same fabric, but different cuts, that way each girl can pick something that they feel comfortable wearing.  My cousin and my sister both picked the strapless dress, my MOH picked something different, one of my other bridesmaids picked a 3rd dress, and i have one left that has to choose.   Mine are getting made by my FMIL, but I know Alfred Angelo has something similar, where you can choose the top, choose the skirt, and have everything the same color.

I have the same dilemma with my bridal party so I think I'm going to do what RA did and just pick the color and designer and have them pick the rest.  I'd rather my friends be comfortable in something they chose then semi comfortable in something I picked...

My cousin's wife tried to do this with her bridesmaids... she really wanted them to wear whatever they wanted (she didn't specify color, style, anything) and her future sister in law coordinated all the BMs and they all bought the same dress, even though that wasn't what the bride wanted. They all looked nice though, and it was a very classy LBD.

My cousin for her wedding last year said "Buy a black dress....I don't care what style it is as long as it isn't floor length."  I tried making my own dress, and it started to hate me (the collar took over, and I haven't touched it since....this was over a year ago) so I ended up buying a super cute ATL dress for $40.  I like the idea of having BMs pick out their own dress because dresses can be EXPENSIVE, and that way they can find something they love that they can also afford.

Those ideas sound wonderful! I looked at Alfred Angelos website and love a few of their styles. The only problem is that all the BM have completely different styles and I doubt they can all agree. I think this has been the most frustrating part of planning! lol!

I was part of a wedding party with 8 BM's ranging from size 2-20-something.  The bride picked a strapless dress from DB (DB has a large selection of plus size dresses).  To be honest, the dress didn't flatter any of us, large or small.

I feel like BMs don't have to be clones to look pulled together.  If it doesn't bother you, let them pick different styles in the same color, fabric or color family.  It will be much easier for everyone.

Also, the style of BM dresses don't really have to "match" your wedding gown.  Just keep them on the same formality level.... if yours is dressy, make them dressy, if yours is comfy casual, keep them casual, etc.

If you decide to have them all match, I'd take them to a store to try some on, or at least take the hardest to shop for. An empire waist line does wonders :)

Yea I don't necessarily care if they wear the same style but I definitely would like them to wear the same fabric and be cocktail length or longer since the venue is pretty formal. I have seen some nice dresses on Davids Bridal site but they are always so rude there! Maybe we should all go to Macys or something

I would try on dresses with all of them. I did this with my girls and they had the option of choosing their own styles. In the end they all decided to wear the same dress. A classic strapless a-line style all the designers have going now which compliments all shapes and sizes.

    As for DB-
I was pleasantly surprised recently.  Beth helped me for 2 1/2 hours without complaint and was really helpful.
