catering/brunch recs--triangle

hi everyone--

does anyone have any caterers to recommend in the triangle area? we're looking for something casual for rehearsal dinner (bbq), plated dinner for the reception, and some yummy brunch food for sunday morning!

Let me know if you have any caterers to recommend or if you know of any inexpensive but good brunch restaurants near durham/chapel hill.

    We wanted BBQ for our rehearsal dinner and we went with Red Hot & Blue on Falls of Neusse. We were really happy with how everything turned out and everyone loved the food. Cafe Luna would probably be good to check into for brunch. I've heard good things about them.

    Catering by Design is great for catering.

    My absolute favorite place for brunch in Chapel Hill is the Weathervane.  It's attached to A Southern Season.

    Second that about the Weathervane, they are awesome! Our RD is there, I don't think we're having a brunch but if we were I would want it there. :) Crook's Corner is also good for brunch but they're somewhat smaller than the Weathervane and don't have private rooms.

    Catering Company of Chapel Hill is amazing, I love their food. They're doing heavy hors d'ouevres for our reception, but I know their plated dinner would be just as amazing. Also, they're "full service" so they can help you get rentals,etc. as well.

    For BBQ we hands down love Allen and Sons, which I think is technically in Hillsborough but close to Chapel Hill. Also the Q Shack, mostly because of their mac and cheese (which A and Sons doesn't have.) :)

    I don't know if the flying biscuit in raleigh does catering but their breakfast/brunch is amazing!

    Breadman's caters too.  Primary location on Rosemary St, Chapel Hill.  The lines around the building on weekend mornings ought to tell you something about their food.
