Navy Blue Suits

If a post similar to this has been posted, I apologize to post this topic again.
My fiance and I are having a difficult time finding a 3 pc navy blue suit for our wedding. We wanted to steer from the traditional black suit/tux. Our colors are pink and navy blue and thought it would be a great idea to have navy blue suits.

We aren't looking to have our groomsmen spending more than $200 on a suit. Has anyone done navy blue suits for their wedding? Where could I find navy blue suits, preferably 3 piece suits?

Hi there, I spent a long time looking too. Unless you buy them, which are an option, I didn't find any. Some placed rent them, but they are polyester (yuk) and don't look very nice. My colors are Navy and Green and we ended up picking a black tux that looks like a suit. You could have your guys buy from Jos A Banks. They have a buy 2 suits for like $350 bucks or so. But then you need the shirt and tie too. Some places will rent a Navy tux too. GL!

Doesn't Men's Wearhouse rent suits...  Might be a place to start.  I found the service at the Clybourn store to be excellent.

We're also doing navy suits, our colors are navy and green as well!  My fiance bought a jcrew suit and told everyone about it and our thoughts are that ppl can wear the navy suit they have (solid no patterns) or they can buy a suit for the wedding (what man doesnt need a navy suit??).  We didnt tell all the GM that they had to buy the specific suit that my fiance is wearing but just to try and match color wise.  But to us, it wasnt so important for everyone to look exactly the same.  Jos A Banks has some ridiculous sales and JCrew you can get a student discount w a student ID.

not sure if that was helpful!

    Try Men's Wearhouse or K&G.

Thanks for the responses. I have been to men's warehouse and macy's and everywhere and can't find a 3 piece solid navy blue suit for under $200. I know that those places have navy blue suits but it's rare to find anyone that carries a 3 pc suit. Also i've learned that if i'm looking to get a 46L(suit coat) for my fiance, he's a 34L pant so that's an issue too and I can't order a complete suit in 46L. I am starting to check out suit seperates but again finding a vest to match will be challenging.
We are not looking to rent, but to buy.

    Hello!

I'm in your boat as well, wanting Navy suits (colors are pink and navy too). I don't care about having 3 piece ones though. I actually originally wanted navy, but since we're doing navy bridesmaid dresses I'm now going to do some sort of gray suit.

two weeks ago I was on Macy's site and they had a great sale on them - several suits (and 3pc suits) that were normally $250 or so were $149.99. With macy's they seem to run the same sales every month or so, so I would keep checking back. Plus there are sometimes coupons you can use with a Macy's card, etc.

Here's a place in the suburbs I've been told about and was thinking of checking out but I've never been:

They are supposed to have great deals.

We decided to ask people to buy suits vs. rent tuxes, since it will only be a bit more and at least they will get to keep the suit!

Hey I thought about this option too but decided against it. Men's Warehouse doesn't rent suits we found, and has only one tux option (only the vests change). The bridal salon (The Crystal Bride) where we bought our dresses works with Jims Formalwear and they actually have tuxes and suits to rent. And they have navy blue ones too!

My colors are Navy & Pink too!  I thought about having the groomsmen wear their own suit, if they have Navy, or purchase a reasonable priced one.  My fiance is going to have a tux made, so they won't be exact anyway.  His seamstress said that the guys could always rent black tuxes, but does that sound weird?  Also, if they had to purchase a suit, what is a reasonable price to ask them to pay?
