NWR and TMI? Waxing

So just putting it out there that if anyone is interested in getting any type of waxing done (and doesn't have "a place" yet), there is a place that recently opened up in Westport called The Waxing Spot. You can Google them. They only focus on waxing - which I liked. If it's your first time there, they give you 10% off, and then for whoever you refer, you get another 10% off. They were really nice and tried to make me relax (for someone who has never gotten it done!) and had a nice business set up, etc.

I want to set up a waxing appointment... but I am SO scared. I don't know how I feel about a stranger looking at my goods! Lol!!

I like that they ONLY do waxing... but I think Westport's a drive for me... Sandra recommended a place that's only like 15 min away... so I'll probably check it out.

I usually go to Soho in New Haven but this is much more convenient since I live in Westport. Thank!

I come over and lurk on the CT board because I am from there but I would highly recommend the Candlewood Day Spa in Brookfield for waxing.  I went there the first time I decided to do it and I have gone there multiple times since.

Your not kidding! From what she said, they are from Brazil or of that heratige and people down there are a lot more open and stuff about it. I was so embarrased, but she could have cared less and said that that's what most people go in there for...

It is an embarrassing experience to some degree but usually the people who do it are so nonchalant about the whole thing that you relax after a few minutes. Plus, they generally give you paper panties to keep yourself *partially* covered!

I've been getting a Brazillian for about 8 years and it's great because I rarely have to go now but if anyone is nervous start with a regular bikini wax first and you too will see how professional the people in this business are :)
