I was going to borrow an old $5 bill from my sister to keep in my new clutch; it's old, blue, borrowed and put in something new lol

I also toyed with the idea of sewing a little patch of my son's blue blankie in my dress (something old/blue) but I can't figure out what do for borrowed...

I am hoping to wear a necklace that belonged to my Grandmother, so that will be my old and borrowed. My shoes and earings will be something new, and I am going to either put blue crystal "I DO" stickers on the shoes or sew our wedding date into the lining of the dress in blue.

My old is my engagement ring- it was my grandmother's.

My new is my dress.

My borrowed is a necklace of my grandmother's that belongs to my mom that I'm going to wrap around my wrist as a bracelet.

My shoes are blue!

I'm also trying to get ahold of a sixpence to put in my shoe.

I'm not sure what I am doing about old, but my new is my dress I guess. Borrowed..... haven't figured that out yet but i am sure to be borrowing something. I will def be wearing blue topaz studs in my ears though, not only to act as my something blue but also because if i wear any type of dangly earring it's sure to get stuck in my hair.

Old- Grandmother's ring she got when she was 16 (she died last year so it will be sentimental)

New- Dress

Borrowed- I don't know yet! Was going to borrow my cousin's veil but she couldn't find it

Blue- Shoes/garter

I have a great combo item. I borrowed a family heirloom from my aunt. It is the sapphire and pearl pin my great-grandfather gave to my great-grandmother for their engagement back in the 1920s.

My new will be basically everything else I am wearing.

I also have a sixpence my grandmother gave me when I was first engaged (at 18 lol).

Old- will be a platinum and diamond vintage ring that belong to my FMIL's mom. I'm going to wear it on my right hand.

New- my dress

Borrowed- My cousin's wife is lending me her diamond earnings

Blue- a star sapphire ring that was my mom's (my sisters and I had duplicates made so we all wear it everyday)...I'm thinking I'm going to tie it around my bouquet with the charm I had made for her.

Borrow- a friend's long line bra
blue- my shoes and my garter both have blue
Old- my late grandma's rosary from her first Communion in 1944 (this is actually borrowed as she left it to my mom and blue as well so if I didn't already have the others it would kill 3 birds with 1 stone)

Borrowed: grandmother's earrings and aunts cake serving set
my old and borrowed was originally suppose to be mother's veil but the lace does not go with my dress

Borrowed: the earrings and necklace my mom wore on her wedding day

Old: I have a pair of earrings that my dad gave my mom a long time ago. I'm not wearing them but gluing them to buttons and using them on the handle part of my bouquet.

New: Dress and FI bought me a pearl necklace and braclet to wear. We just got them in the mail today, so pretty. He also bought our daughter a matching pearl necklace to wear, and hopefully someday she can wear it at her own wedding. I still have to find some pearl earrings to match.

Barrowed: A handkerchief of my friends, it was her great grandmothers. So I guess it could count for something old too.

Blue: My shoes!!!
