Anyone heard of Axxium by OPI?

Or what salon does it?

A girl on my club board posted about it and I guess it is a colored gel that they paint directly on your nails and lasts for three weeks. Then they just soak off so it does not harm your nails.

Anyone know if there is a salon in the twin cities that does this?

TIA!

    GAH!

I thought this sounded familiar... I remember getting an e-mail about it from a nail salon I've been to in Maple Grove. They do it, and they e-mailed me a $5 off coupon for it. But I don't live there, so I probably wouldn't use it :)  Let me know if you want the offer, and I'll email it to you :)

Anyone else who's interested in the coupon, let me know :)  My sister and I were just talking about this, and I think we might get them when I'm back in MN for my bach party :)

hmmm... when I googled it, I just found this:
    http://www.planetfeedback.com/opi+products+inc/safety/opi+axxium+is+a+danger+to+natural+fingernails/323008

I don't know if I should believe it? Are you only supposed to use it on artifical nails?

Spalon Montage does Axxium (I went to the one in Edina) it was awesome. your nails have to be the length you want them.(or if you are going to start some time before your wedding they will grow out, but that can be costly. They paint on the Axxium polish just like any nail polish, but also used a special top coat and I think bottom coat. The UV light is used in between  each layer. mine costed $45.00 and lasted over 2 weeks. They stayed shiney the whole time, and I got tons of compliments on them. The benefit is your nails look more natural. They say it doesn't damage the nails, but it does some- not as severe as acrylics. I also went to Phresh salon on Grand avenue, they didn't do as good of a job.

    Hope this helps.

Tracy at Salon Junallo(Aveda) offer Axxium by OPI. It's a great product, but the application does require to take off the shine on your natural nails, and the soak off require your finger to soak off in Acetone bowl for about 15 to 20 minutes.
There is one product just came out in May of 2010, and it's call Shellac Hybrid color for CND, very popular, and the most talk about on news, internet, and magazine.
This product is truely perfect for natural nails, no harm to your natural nails, easy on and easy off. you can visit http://www.tracynailcare.com and watch a video.
You can alway call or visit Salon Junallo located in Richfield MN or call 952-844-8777 to book with Tracy.
You are guarantee happy when you walk out of Salon Junallo with Tracy Tong. She done nails care over 10 years, and only used the best product in the market for your nails enhancement or natural nails care. Thank You.
