  heb - yay sending invitations!!!  And FI also hasnt found a shirt yet =/
  
  My w/e was good - I had my bridal shower! It was tons of fun.  But now FI is sick and we are still at my parents.  We're heading back tomorrow after getting our marriage license.
  
  In silly petty news, my best friend and MOH asked someone else to be her MOH.  I get it, and really don't have the time to be someone's MOH...but it still hurts my feelings.  I've known her since diapers.  Trying to figure out how to just get over it.

  Congrats on almost being done with the invites! That's super exciting.
  
  I worked on invites this weekend as well. I'm only halfway done with the actual invites, then I have to work on the inserts.
  
  Have you checked on ebay for candles? What kind are you looking for?

  Mdphd: That's exciting about your shower! What was your favorite thing about thw shower? Favorite gift?  I had a blast at mine, but I was such a emotional basket case! Hope FI feels better and YAY for marriage license!!!  Sorry to hear about the MOH situation. I can totally understand not wanting to be upset and not being able to help it. I would feel the same way.
  
  
  mookow: I was looking for pillar candles 2.8X1.8 they fit perfectly into a small mason jar. That's a good idea to check ebay! thanks!  Also thanks about the shirts! I'll maybe have to call their hotline. We went to MW to check that out and they said they didn't carry ivory with french cuff. Thanks!!!

  Hi!
  
  I had a pretty good weekend. My first dress fitting was Saturday... I am in LOVE with my dress... I mean could not stop smiling. But I was not in love with the price of the alterations. $420. What really bugs me is that I had to pay for extra length and when I bought my dress I was wearing the shoes I am wearing on my wedding day. Well I paid $170 for extra length and now I have to pay $165 to have it shortened. Anyways I am going to the salon this afternoon to drop off the second half of the payment for my dress and I'm going to see if they can comprimise on the alterations cost.
  
  MD - I'm sorry about your friend, I think it's completely understandable to be upset.
  
  Heb - Sounds like you are getting a lot done! Maybe check Hobby Lobby for the candles?
