Aisle question..

I am thinking of setting up two sections of chairs like usual and putting petals down in the aisle and then marking the aisle off with a ribbon that connects the two sections of chairs. I am going to have the ushers bring people to their seats from the outside leaving the aisle reserved for the parents and bridal party, only problem is...who takes down the ribbon? what do you do with it? I saw the idea in a magazine and its really cute but I'm not sure how to utilize it?

I would have one of the ushers remove it.

Yes, after your guests are seated and just before the first person is to walk down the aisle, have the usher remove the ribbon.

That's similar to what we did, but we used fabric instead of ribbon. One of the ushers removed it just before the seating of the Mother's for the processional. No big deal.
