Dress fittings???

Hi all, I bought my dress from the Bridal Boutique in Columbia. They have been fantastic so far, but they said if I need alterations, to bring the dress in 3 months in advance?? Does that mean I would have to maintain my weight for 3 months (I've been actively losing weight since August and still have some more to go for my goal)? Or is that just considered the first fitting and then I would have several more closer to the wedding?

Anyone have an idea? I may just have to call them so they can explain.

    Yeah I would expect to have more fitting than just that one. Don't worry!

    I think it is standard to have 3 fittings. I had 4 fittings because I was losing weight as well, but they didn't alter the dress at every fitting.  Just checking to make sure it still looked okay.  :)
