just got off the phone with a Representative from the Radisson, who wanted to inform us that the plumbing problem had been fixed and that they were re opening today. And I asked him if the financial problem had been fixed, and his response was that, they didn't close because of that. And I said "well the news article along with the law suite filed against the hotel made me think otherwise. So unfortunately because we were not given any notice, any reassurance on Monday, we had to move forward as if the Radisson was not going to reopen. Planning a wedding in October is not an easy thing to do and we had to move our date as well as coordinate our vendors to make sure that they had availability. Thankfully we had the time to do this and this is not something that we ever want to do again. At this time we don't feel confident keeping our event at your venue and we would like our deposit refunded." He said it will be sent to us within the week
so all is well that ends well. We are getting the deposit back and I can start planning a new wedding at a new venue. Good thing I LOVE PLANNING. I can't thank you all enough for your thoughtful posts. you ladies are great
