Wedding Certificate Questions

Hi Ladies,

With many of you getting your certificates, I'm wondering what they are used for, other than proving you're married?? I'm not planning to change my name, so that's not a concern. Are they used for anything else?? Married ladies?? Thanks!!

It's mostly for name change since wherever you do that they request a copy, but anything that you need to apply to as a married couple you'll need it. I have a friend who didn't change her name and hasn't requested a certified copy of her certificate yet. She's about to have a baby and she wants to have the same last name as baby so she's going to change it now finally, and is in the process of requesting that cert.
