I'm leaving the grocery store today.  I parked with th shopping cart corral on one side and a honda on the other.  I got to the van at the same time as honda lady.  I put my cart behind the van, 6let stands next to the van, and I start strapping M2 in.  This is the safest way I know how to do things.

Honda "lady" finishes putting her things in, does not return her cart, hops in the car, and starts yelling at me.  She told me to strap the kid in faster and move the other one out of the way.  Seriously, it does not take more than 3 mins to strap a kid in. 

I yelled back that if she had returned her cart this would not have been an issue.  Please remember the corral is just on the other side of me.  Had she returned the cart I would have been done.

    It (time) doesn't make a difference.  Honda lady didn't put her cart away and then got mad at YOU for obstructing traffic?  No.

    I'm not kid friendly and I would've been forgiving in this instance.  I might not be all yay for kids, but I'm pretty yay for kid safety.

    Also, I hate it when people who don't return their carts.  Lazy.

    Who harrasses a mom who has two kids and is in the act of strapping one in before she can get to the other?   And who doesn't put their cart away?  Oh yeah, a total jerk.

    If I ever find myself unemployed I am going to spend the lonely hours yelling at people in grocery store parking lots who do not put their carts away.  How lazy can you get?

    She is definitely the bigger asshat. DEFINITELY.

    But I'm confused why 6let was standing behind the van. I'd have him sit in his seat until I could buckle him in, or at least get in the van. 

    Then again, I have runners. They know better in parking lots, but I worry that they'll be distracted by something shiny and forget. So I corral them into the car so I can unload the grocery cart in peace.

    The shopping cart was behind the van.  I make 6let stand next to me with his hand on the car.  He likes to help me load the groceries so he gets in his seat after the groceries are in.  I guess I could put him in first, but I would have still been in her way.
