Family Unity Ideas??

Okay - we have 8 children between the 2 of us. (his 4, my 4) We want to include the kids in the ceremony somehow, but I am at a loss as to how. I've heard of the Unity Candle, and the Unity Sand ideas, but want something more unique? 

Brainstorm some ideas for me?? Thanks, girls! :)

    So I know this isn't exactly what you were looking for, but.... we have 10 kids...my 6 and his 4. We also wanted to include them all...this is what we are doing. The 4 little girls will all be flower girls. 2 of those are a baby and a toddler so the 10 year old boy will be helping them...we may even consider having him pull them in a wagon. We will have 2 ring barers age 8 and 9...they each get their own pillow. My twins who are 13 will be walking me down the aisle and the 15 year old will be escorting mothers to thier spots....although...he kind of hates being in front of people but loves taking photos...so we have considered having him do a photoshoot with us and displaying his pictures and listing his name as the photgrapher. 

    I would love to hear though if anyone has additional ideas. :) Good Luck!

    We are doing a maypole dance with our parents/sibs to symbolize the coming together of 2 families -- maybe something like that? Maypoles aren't that hard or expensive to make, and they're super fun! (Of course...it would probably have to be an outdoor ceremony!)

    We don't have kids, but we are doing a tree ceremony to symbolize our families forming a new family tree. We are having each of our parents pour in a small jar of soil from their homes for our potted tree, then we are watering it together. We will plant it at our home together after wedding day. How old are the children? As long as they are not babies, I could see each of the kids pouring in a little soil and the two of you watering the tree. Google "tree ceremony" and I'm sure you'll find alternate versions as well.

    We wanted to include all of my children as well, so we decided they are going to “give me away” with my dad.  (There are four of them).  When the Rev asks “Who presents this bride?” they are all going to say, “We do!”
