Hi!!!!  You know what early yesterday I e-mailed Northampton Country Club because I know someone who got married there a year ago and they loved it. I must say so myself we think a lot alike in venues ;) They even responded back not within an hour! There pricing is very reasonable for everthing it covers too! The only question I do have since you booked there, what are there deposit requirements to save your date? I know some places will have you put 50% down or they do payments on a 1/3 basis or something along those lines. The only thing is they don't have a fireplace which i'm a little sad about but with everthing they do cover makes up for it. Just no s'more making for our guest, what they don't know what I had planned won't hurt them.

Thank you very much for offering to help give me other information for venues if I need it! The only information I like is about the deposit requirements and of course if there is anything else about the venue you can share with me would be great! Now I just need to set up a date to go look at the venue. 

I hope you will be posting pictures up from your wedding because I would love to see!!!

    Omg that's too ironic!  We loved NVGC as soon as we set foot on the grounds, it's so pretty and very elegant.  Plus we have heard nothing but good things from everyone that has been there for an event and the quick responses from the Coordinators is amazing!

    As far as the deposit schedule, it was $1500 to hold your date and 30 % due 1 year from date of wedding.  We booked in June for May, so they gave us another month to come up with the 30% since we booked less than a year away.

    Just a tip:  don't be afraid to negotiate.  They will work with you if you present reasonable requests and if you are considering January you should get a pretty decent deal.  I got a lot of things I wanted, at a lower price or included.  If you're not comfortable negotiating, try to do it via email. 

    Let me know what you think about it after you and your FI have visited.  I was going to tell you things that we liked--but I don't want to influence your opinion!
