Shoes to match a red wedding dress??

Hey Ladies!

Well, I have fulfilled my dream of buying a red wedding dress, but now I'm stuck on the shoes! The wedding is a red, black, and white color scheme. The BMs will be in black dresses with black sandals, and the men will wear white shirts with black slacks. The wedding will be on the beach, and then we will have a lunch reception. I want some sexy heeled sandals for the lunch reception, but I don't know what type of sandals will go with my dress..please help!

Your best bet is to find a black strappy sandal w/ about a 1" heel, unless you want higher. I also am wearing a red wedding dress, but because of the victorian theme, my dress is huge. And since my FI is shorter than me, I am wearing converse under my dress.

My dress is ovory and I'm wearing these:

They're Betsey Johnson, I could see leopard print looking adorable with red. If you're not on the wild side I would choose something black.

I'm doing cowboy boots with rubber tread...LOL...not going to chance the combination of me, alcohol, and heels. I'm getting married in a field in Wyoming, so the boots definitely will fit in.

I hadn't heard of sole mates, neat idea. Although, I typed "solemates.com" without "the" and it came up as a Christian singles site...OOPS

If you are on sand, you may want a wedge or flat sole.

Nude and gold shoes came to my mind.

I wanted to have a red wedding dress but ultimately decided this is the only time I'll be able to wear a white wedding dress. If we renew our vows I will probably go with a red dress.

Either way I was going to wear blue shoes though as my something blue. The shoes do not match my color scheme at all of fall colors, but I'm very excited about my blue shoes.

I'm not wearing shoes on the sand. The shoes will be for the reception.
