    Checks:
No real checks, FI and I both had a nasty cold last week, so there were'nt any 100% checks.

    Working On this week:
    DIY Centerpieces

Figuring out what kind of wine to serve

Signing and mailing back our contract to book Transportation for us and Hotel guests.

Taking our furbaby to get his kennel cough shot this week, and then taking him to get behavioral okay'ed by this AWESOME Doggie Daycare/Boarding place, so he can be doggie pampered while we're on our honeymoon Laughing

Placing the flower order for bouquets (need to do at 4-week mark), it's for tulips with a Skagit County vendor.

Making 2nd payment with RD vendor.

RSVPs due THIS Friday!  Hope the last 26 people get off their butts!!!!

    Done
My wedding dress arrived and the boy's tux fits perfectly. :) Bridesmaid dresses have been shipped. Big people clothes - done. Gotta order flower girl dresses next month.

Calligrapher is working on addressing envelopes - so invitations will be done soon. :)

    Working on
Nothing. Just trying to pack the house and get ready to move at the end of the month. I don't want to start something and stop half way through.

Check: bought my wedding dress!  I was "ambushed" by my MOH and BMd; we were suppose to go get their dresses but they decided that I needed a once-in-a-lifetime dress.    So my simple one from Nordstroms is headed back.

Working on: After seeing that picture upper body workouts!

Needing: Opinons - add the straps (which would be plain) or not?

I was going to do it as a poll but it's not giving me that function for some reason.  Please let me know your thoughts - add the straps or not.  (And I will be getting a spray tan before the wedding.) Thanks! :)

@sharingourlove - add the straps!  You'll want them.  My strapless/corset dress loss structure after I sat down for dinner.  I had straps sewn in that I could pop out when I wanted them.  It was great for dancing etc.

    Checks: posted vendor reviews
To do: get for sale stuff organized, TY cards! eek

Sharingourlove-- I vote for straps too, and I LOVE your dress, especially the beading.

It wasn't my most productive weekend ever, but I did go over to my parents on Saturday and worked with my mom on some stuff:

    1.  Ordered runners for all the tables (and got them for much less than we were going to rent them for!)

    2.  Practiced our centerpieces.  Still need some work, we used fake so we are going to do a trial run with real ones soon. My mom is also doing a lot of florist research stuff for me too which is great!

    3.  Hotel Stalking.  I obsessively monitor our hotel website to see who is coming to the wedding (or at least has reserved a room for it!)

I'm also procrastinating ordering our invitations, which I need to do ASAP so we can get them sent out at the end of the month Undecided

Thanks ladies!  I think what's been bothering me has been the plainess of them compared to the dress.  But I think my friend who is handy with a needle and thread can take the pearl beads from my aunts veil and add them to the straps to make them blend in better.  I am more comfotrable with the straps, they just look too plain for me (of course they are cotton but I'm sure will be satin when the right ones are attached).

We just had pretty basic pictures/portraits taken for our e-pics, just on a black background, but the photographer recommended long sleeved, medium-to-dark tones (darker than skin tone) for the shirt and medium-to-dark pants. Also, he suggested my FI take off his white undershirt that was visible through the collar of his button-down shirt. He said it would stand out too much and look weird. Ours turned out well - good luck.
