spray tan?

Anyone getting a spray tan? I've never gotten one before. I've gotten "real" UV tanning, but I've decided i shouldnt do that anymore... lol

Any recommendations near Randolph? Advice on how to not get streaky? I've heard there's a "dance" you do to get it on evenly lol

    If you want orange stained on your dress go for it! It rubs off.

    xstarx05x - try "girl of impaema" in Summit NJ for spray tan....they do a great job, you dont look orange at ALL, rather sun kissed like you spent a day or two out in the sun and didnt burn! They will mix the color to your liking!

    ALWAYS get a test done a few weeks before so you know how the sprayer is and how you will look.

    DONT go the day before your wedding so in case you do wish to correct it - you can.

    remember - it's natural for your face to be lighter than the rest of your body so if it's the same shade the sprayer doesn't know what they're doing.

    I used to be the spray tan tec at a tanning salon and i would do a sun kissed look on myself ALL the time - i wouldn't trust anybody else but myself because it's really hard to find somebody who will make it look natural and even - thats why i recommend you start testing ppl out.

    i wouldn't recomend it for your wedding day. the tan shouldn't rub off on your dress just like that - it's the combo with sweating that will make it rub off.

    I just went spray tanning 3 weeks ago cause I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and I had really bad tan lines!  I second having a test spray done first!  I also definitely would recommend going 2 days before when you want it done because you cant shower for 6 hours and you are extremely sticky.  It didnt rub of for me after i took the luke warm shower after the right amount of time, however while you are waiting i would recommend to keep lotion on the palms of your hands or else it does rub off on them and the inside of your hansd turn orange!

    hmm maybe i'm not talented enoough for this lol! i don't want to be pasty! oh well.. maybe self-tan lotion (the gradual stuff)  is the way to go

    I spent my entire adolescense in a tanning bed but I, like you have given that up for the past couple of years because I realized that it's so terrible for your skin/health. When I QUIT tanning lol, however, I did tell myself that I would allow myself to do one more tanning package: when I got married! I've done a lot of spray tans and most of the time they came out really good by just going in the booth of beach bum tanning. For my OWN wedding though, I would not recommend it. Even if a pro sprays you, I would be weary of it rubbing off on the dress. I've seen it come off on my white sheets when I sweat at night and I went to my company picnic w/ a spray tan and it rubbed off on the back of my shirt. No one could see it because it was on the inside but the dry cleaner's couldn't even get it out! Finally, spray tans are ALWAYS weird around your hands and feet. With so many pictures of your hands with your beautiful new wedding band, you do not want to remember that you had blotchy orange spots that were not Indian wedding henna on your hands!  My advice: keep a secret from your dermatologist and do the traditional tanning beds/stand up tanning a couple of weeks leading up to your big day JUST THIS ONE LAST TIME! Then, you could bit the bad habit farewell once and for all! Enjoy!!
