    hahaha

I don't know, I still like it here.  I was a little anti-wedding after the wedding for a while, but I feel like this is my home and it would be hard to leave.  Plus I have a bit of a rant right now that building up... basically: please don't take over the lives of your bridesmaids!

I hope the summer brides stick around at least through ... oh, to pick a day at random, September 18th :D.

But seriously I hope they at least pop in once in a while. I definitely plan on "paying forward" all the help I've gotten from TK through at least the start of next wedding season. I might even team up with some fellow groomzillas and start a wedding blog ^_^.

As for The Nest, FIe keeps talking about having a kid sooner rather than later. Uh ... we'll see how that goes :).

I for the life of me (so far at least) have not been able to move over to The Nest!  I love lurking here!!!  Plus, like Jennlin mentioned - way more fun pics here than on The Nest!  Niq - i think your 9/18 date is actually not a bad idea!

How about 9/19?  Just one more day?  PLEASE?

I go over there on occation. I have definatley stopped posting here as much. I don't find most of it interesting any more, but I will chime in if I can help or a topic is interesting to me. I spend most of my time on the Health and Fitness board. The Seattle board is nice too, just slow moving.

I'll graduate with you!  I love the Seattle TK board, but I go through anti-wedding moods, so I wouldn't mind it if a bunch of us moved over to the nest.  I look at it every once in a while to see what it's like... and it seems really slow.  So it needs us!  I like reading the Decorating & Renovating page over there anyway.  And you won't find me on the bump anytime soon, even if I HAVE a bump.  Those girls be not nice. =(

I like the Money Matters board...they seem to be a nice but honest and intelligent bunch.

I think my local (Columbus) is dead and the times I lurked on the NJ nest it was just too much Jersey judgey mcattitude for me. I must be losing my Jersey-ness slowly but surely!

I'm not going anywhere for a bit.  The nest feels kinda like retiring, and that sounds dull to me.  Also, I don't recommend or review vendors until everything's all done, so I want to provide a little good advice where possible for a bit.

I never did move on the the nest.  I don't know why...but I love weddings, so I just stuck around here and now three years later just come back once in a blue moon.  I liked "paying it forward" like one other poster mentioned.  Okay, part of the reason I didn't move to the nest was that my friends didn't also move, and also I wasn't sure how much I wanted to talk about homes (still renting right now), babies (still don't have any) and the like. :-) I had a really bad taste in my mouth about the knot because people were being CRAZY and getting vicious--not necessarily the seattle board.

I didn't want to create another addiction (although all my July 2007 girls created a facebook group after an attack from a group of women from another board, so I really just transferred addictions). ;-)

Yeah, The Nest board for Seattle is just so dead sometimes, so I lurk over on The Bump since people post daily over there.

*MrsWSU - I think it's funny/uncanny that you and I have common friends on FB that aren't through TK. The world is a small place.

I'll consider it. Seriously, I do enjoy planning in an abstract manner, so helping other people now that I'm done sounds like I'll enjoy it. I'm afraid at the moment there won't be enough to keep me entertained on the Nest. Kids aren't being considered for at least two years, no matter what all 3 sets of parents keep saying, and we are still renters. True, we're going to start up the househunting again now that we're done, but I might just have irritation/jealousy until then.

By the way, at the bookstore during the 2 day gap we had between wedding and leaving for HM to finish packing and buying traveling stuffs, and went over to the magazines to see about something for the plane. I made a beeline for the Bridal mags and started flipping through one before i realized, "Oh, wait. I just HAD my wedding. Um...now what?" LOL
