I saw on the news this morning that you're stealing my Archbishop.
Apparently Archbishop Charles Chaput, formerly of Denver, is now going to Philadelphia to end the corruption. The Pope did not like how the Cardinal, who is stepping down, handled child molestation cases.
Interestingly enough, everybody out here in Colorado have nothing but praise for Chaput. However, when I was in Toledo, the priest who married us did not speak too kindly of him. He thought Chaput was too strict with the requirements he imposed on couples getting married (I personally did not mind the more stringent requirements), and was just too strict in general on other things.
I'm just curious what your thoughts are. If you think this is a good change for Pennsylvania or would you prefer Cardinal Rigali?
