Capital district chapels

i am looking for a chapel in the capital district. We are not religious but would like a chapel setting and our wedding in march 2012 so outdoors is out of the picture. I found chapel in the country and loved that but it's only open may through nov
Thanks

I can recommend a place to NOT use.  We looked at A Wedding in the Country outside of Saratoga.  The chapel is on RIGHT on the road, the paint in peeling, and the inside is very dingy.  That is the only chapel I know of in the area.  I think there may be one in Lake George.  After we looked at A Wedding in the Country, we decided to have a religious ceremony in a Catholic church.

Thanks. Any churches that are not as strict to us not having a significant religious background. I am not just doing it for the scenery of a church wedding I'm doing it for the spiritual aspect

Are either of you Catholic?  My fiance is Catholic but I am not.  We were able to have St Marys in Ballston Spa agree to do our ceremony.  That was the only Catholic church in the area that would do our ceremony without either of us being members of the church.  It is a beautiful church and the rules are not as strict as most Catholic churches.

I agree with aral, the wedding in the country chapel is down right awful!!  Such a waste of time checking out that place!

I was SOOOOO disappointed when we went to look at it.  I didn't even want to get out of the car but the officiant spotted us as we pulled into the driveway.  The website was VERY misleading!!!!

Hahha I didn't want to get out of the car either!!  Yes the website was so misleading, you really thought it was on a cute country road on a secluded hill, but no, it wasn't.  The worst part about it was the officiant who owns/runs it.  By the time we left we knew her entire life story, and yet she never even asked my fiance his name.  I couldn't believe it!
