Rehersal Dinner Meal

My fiance and I are having our rehersal dinner at a member of the families home. I'm curious what you would serve at that kind of location. We're having BBQ at our wedding so we don't really want to serve BBQ at the rehersal dinner.  We can really serve anything. The owner of the home is a chef and said he'd cook anything we wanted !Any ideas?

    Homemade pizza might be fun. You could even have your guests pick toppings in small groups for their own personalized pizzas :)

    Pasta is easy, and fairly inexpensive, and the opposite of BBQ.  That might be fun!
