"Precious metals"

Hi ladies!  I'm not sure who all has seen the "precious metals" slideshow, but I love the idea of using silver and gold as my colors.  Has anyone done this before and do you happen to have any pictures?  I'm stumped for ideas & I'm hoping pictures will get my creative juices flowing...  Thanks!!

    I saw this.  I loved it.  I wanted to do it but I'm not creative enough nor do I trust enough that things will turn out how they're supposed to.  I wanted a silver and white wedding and our reception place is more receptive to a gold color.  Anyways, I think it's gorgeous!  I will say that I did know that my centerpieces were going to be sticks (literally - wedding planner and mom, sister, and I will be picking up sticks) then we clean them and spray paint them and glue glitter or crystals to them and we'll have votive candles around these on the tables.  So for this, I was going to put more gold and silver into the spray paint colors ... But we're getting married in January so I figured that'd be best instead of flowers. Plus it's definitely cheaper. 

    What kind of ideas are you looking for?  Dresses? Invites? Save-the-dates? Favors? Food? Place settings? Etc

    When is your wedding and what kind of location will the reception be held?

    What a great idea!  I still don't have the final place picked out, so I know that will be a big influence on which route I end up taking. :-)
