Booked the Honeymoon!

I am so excited that we finally managed to get something accomplished!

We booked our tickets to Hawaii through Delta. Total cost= $40. Yep. You read that correctly. $40! We used our points and only had to pay taxes. And we still managed to have enough points left over for another domestic flight, which is awesome.

I also booked the rooms at the Marriott. Here are the two hotels we will be staying at. One is on the big island (so we can see the volcano) and the other is in Kaua'i (which is supposedly one of the most beautiful islands in Hawaii). With all my Marriott points, as of right now we only have to pay for one night! Awesome!

Now we just need to book the rental car, the puddle jumper planes, and the tours we want to go on (helicopter in Kaua'i, reserve kayaks, etc). I am so excited!!!!

I happen to be doing almost the same thing!  I am using my delta miles to book to Hawaii and using a combo of hilton/marriott/priority club points for the honeymoon.  I was thinking Maui and then IDK because my cousin lives outside of Waikiki.  He teaches surfing and I so want to spend sometime with him and learn.

I have to wait until next year to book my honeymoon because if his father's health is not good we will be doing the caribbean to be closer to home.  Alternative:  St Luicia.

We're contemplating a Hawaii honeymoon too, so I can't wait to hear about everyone's experiences.

And way to go on the points! That is seriously awesome!
