Recommend your baker PLEASE

Less than 4 months to go and I still dont have a baker! We havent been able to find anyone we like so far so I'm looking for any and all suggestions!

We are getting married in Hillsborough, NJ (Somerset area) but are okay with paying delivery, so we'll look everywhere.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

We used Palermo's in Ridgefield Park. Their cakes were delicious. I don't know their pricing however because ours came with our package.

We went with cupcakes from Sweet Ave Bake Shop in Rutherford. They're so amazing! For my bridal shower, my mom got a really great cake from Palermo's also.

We are using Bovella's in Westfield. They do a lot of weddings an the cake that we tried was great!

i like mother mousse on victory boulevard in staten island. the mr. likes palermos in bergenfield and supreme in west orange. can i tell you what we're doing? i'm hoping i can save somebody some cash with this very unoriginal idea. i'm getting a cake a form, one of those styrofoam stackable things that look like cake from across the room. i'm gonna cover it in buttercream, except for this one 1-one inch space i'll leave to fill in with real cake (where we cut). the real cake (in a sheet) will be in the back getting diced up by the caterers. hey b, why go to all the trouble? i'm glad you asked. because when i asked the above named bakeries how much a simple 3 tier is, i started hearing all these 4, 5, 7 bux a slice answers. sheet cake? $45 for 80 people. come back and let us know whatcha decide.

She's my aunt and I've had the absolute pleasure of eating her cakes since I was born, haha. She's doing our cake and not just cuz she's my aunt... because I would not trust anyone else to do my cake.
