Wedding venues and tips for Winter wedding

Hi,

I wanted to inquire if any of you have experienced throwing a winter wedding, specially in NY. (Jan-March 2013) I'm looking through several venues now. If you guys have any suggestions, that would be grateful. =] Also, we are having around 50-60 people, we wanted an intimate wedding. We are open to suggestions. =] (from venues, to caterinf, to experiences) thank you so much! Also, we are on a budget, (5000-7000 maybe) so any help with that would be great too.

Thank you sooo much

Is 5 to 7 for the whole wedding or reception? I would look at Alger House / Manhattan penthouse, city hall restaurant, my moon in brooklyn. Most places in NYC will be around 125 per person min.
  • I was married in February of this year, but the weather was unseasonably high. What borough are you looking into? I can give you advice regarding Staten Island (and some Brooklyn) venues.
