Thank you Cards

I need to get my act together and start sending out Thank you cards... BUT I don't know what I want to do. I want something different and creative to match everything else I did for the wedding but my brain doesn't seem to want to cooperate...

I originally wanted to do something that either had one of our wedding images on it or included it, but we haven't gotten any of the high-res images back yet. I'm not sure if I should wait

What have past brides done? any examples or ideas you can share?

What are current brides planning on doing??

I'd like to get these out before the end of the month so I need to get working on them.

We picked up a bunch of 10 packs of retro Hawaiian postcards and used those (from the ABC stores down there). They're all pictures of old advertisements, or "painted" style pictures. It fit in with the destination theme and they were super cute.

I'm procrastinating on this. I finally have them all written, but I need to get about 15 addresses before I can mail them out. Hopefully this weekend it will happen. I made a postcard on Vistaprint for free. I used this picture from our enagement shoot.

You have already seen some of the pictures from your wedding. Do you think you could just ask your photog to email you one picture that you want for the postcards so that you can do your thank you cards?

It would be cute to do postcards with your pictures! If you can get them high res, get one of the resort or the place you got married at.

Vistaprint does a ton of promotional stuff. Sign up for their emails or google for them. http://vistaprint-goddess.weebly.com/sample-email.html
This website is the best resource for vistaprint stuff out there. The girl who has the site used to hang out on the DIY board, but I'm not sure if she still does or not. Her screen name is Jenanross.

I used a 100 free postcard one that had free uploads. It only cost 7 dollars I think for shipping. If you can hold out for a promotion it's a great buy.

I reached out to my photographer and she is going to get me the hi-res files for the pics that I want to use this weekend!

I'm going to go the postcard route I think, but send them out in envelopes so they don't get messed up in the mail.

I just used a template from shutterfly. It had our initial, both of our names and Thank You on the front with spots for 3 pictures.
