I have not been to a wedding there but we went and toured on the 5th. I thought the pricing was competitive to other sites I had looked at. I think it depends on your taste. I really liked the patios they had available for the wedding ceremony and during the reception. The halls ballrooms were nice if that is what you are looking for. Me and my fiance have decided to go another route. I definetely liked the Wilderness rooms better than Sandstone. It's all about what you like though....Good Luck! =)

I had toured the Wilderness and I also thought the ballrooms were beautiful.  How many people were you planning on inviting?  If you are hosting 200 guests or more, it is fine for the costs.  If there will be less guests, I would suggest a different venue if looking at cost.  I know I decided against it due to the red walls (it would not go with pink, black, and silver)  and the cost was too high compared to the maximum of 150 guests.  I chose Trapper's Turn which is a golf clubhouse owned by Kalahari.  I found it to be very beautiful, intimate, and less of a cost than the Wilderness.  It is definitely worth looking at since there are windows everywhere looking at the green golfcourse and stream.

Do you guys know of a decently priced minister/officiant to perform the ceremony in the Dells?

do they let you have the ceremony on the actual golf course at Trapper's Turn?  or at least somewhere outdoors, my FI wants fireworks for right after we say "I do"  we arent planning on having a real big guestlist either...50 invitations so at the most 100 people

Trapper's Turn does have an area where they do outside ceremonies.

I have booked our wedding at Trappers.  Did you end up having your ceremony/reception there?  Curious to see how everything went for you.
