Bridal Shows

so excited...strapping on my shoes to hit the bridal show with my beautiful daughter tonite!  Hope we get lots of great ideas.  Its at the International Center in Missisauga - anybody been to one of these before?

    I went when I was planning.

    Bring a backpack as you'll get lots of pamphlets, and it gets heavy after a while! It can also get a little overwhelming if you're trying to accomplish everything, so try to narrow down specific types of vendors you're interested in. You can still look at everything else of course, but it helps to have a bit of focus.

    As I recall, the year I went there was a dress booth selling sample gowns at discounts. If your daughter is interested in looking at dresses, she should wear clothing that will be easy to slip in and out of.

    thanks for the info.  Great idea about trying on dresses just for fun.  I don't think I would want to buy there...even if the prices were good its just way to impulsive and we have heard too many horror stories from her friends who did online and sale shopping - will stick to the little shops.  Maybe I'll take the backpack with wheels! lol

    No dresses to try on, in fact only a couple of dress stores were there, still it was an okay show, I think a lot of the business will be at the big on next weekend at the convention center in Toronto.
    It was okay, I was hoping for some more decore ideas though.

    Anyone going to other bridal shows, just a tip: I put my name, address and e-mail on a sheet of labels before going, was much quicker to just put a label down and then fill in my wedding date on all the contest ballots!
