We booked our photographer last night. The package was way less than we were either expecting, as they were running a promotion. And since we booked with them at our meeting, we get a free engagement session with them. This is pretty cool, because we have a friend doing them for us as well... now we'll have two sets to chose from. (Which is helping a lot- FI wants them done at Turkey Point, I really don't... I'd rather have them by the covered bridge by our house, and the creek under it, and the rock wall at rock hill church.

Anyway, yay!

    That's AWESOME!  That is such a huge weight off your shoulders, you're absolutely right.

    In terms of the sessions, you could do one session one place, and another session somewhere completely different.  And who says you can't go to multiple places (as long as they are close to each other) during one session?!

    The other thing you might think about doing is doing them at different times, during different seasons, and maybe including your daughter in one.  That way, she feels like she is special, especially as she grows up and looks back on these photos.

    We're definitely including my daughter in one of the sessions- probably the one closer to home so we can drop her off back at home with my sister.

    The one location is close to the house, I'm not sure if you're familiar with 273 at all, but it's right over the MD border- Rock Hill Church. They've got a gorgeous rock hill. And there's a covered bridge & creek less than a mile from there. The other will probably be at Turkey Point in late spring. (done by the photographer) The one close to home will be with my friend from home that is building up her portfolio. Either way, I'm excited like crazy.
