Not to give TMI, but my parents were divorced when I was five and I've never had a good relationship with my father. However, recently, things have been on the mend and, after much thought and consideration, I've decided to do a "father/daughter dance" and spent hours scouring the web for a song before choosing "Forever Young" by Bob Dylan (it's not mushy and still sweet without me feeling like I'm lying to myself about my relationship with my dad, haha). Anyway, my fiance is SUPER close to his family and is in the midst of choosing a song to dance with his mom to, which is fine. But then he mentioned he wanted to dance with his sister, which I find strange. Do people do this? If so, I've never heard of it. Just wondering what your thoughts are?
