When I made my first post after the wedding, I said I was going to wait on sharing some of my favorite moments from the day until I got the photos to back it up. So, now, here we go:
Favorite moment 1: our first look. We did it because we weren't having a cocktail hour, so we wanted to do as many pictures ahead of time as we could. I'm really glad we did. Even though H and I spent the previous night together (as well as almost all day before the wedding) seeing him ended up being the only part of the day that made me truly nervous. I'm glad we got it out of the way early. Everything seemed like smooth sailing after that, and I love some of the pictures we got:

After the ceremony when the sun was going down, we were also able to get some pictures out on the dock (which was important since the lakeshore was pretty much the reason we chose the place):

Favorite moment #2: Right as we were finishing our first dance, I looked down and noticed a group of the little girls in the family watching with their faces just utterly lit up. So I knelt down and got the sweetest group hug, then they helped me kick off the party for real:

Favorite moment #3: My dad surprised us by playing his guitar and singing to us. The song was "Someone Like You" by Emmylou Harris:

Favorite moment #4: Later in the evening, my mildly inebriated little brother came up to me wanting to do "that Jewish thing". This is what he meant:

Favorite moment #5: We did the YMCA, but changed the order of the letters to spell my name. It's been a running joke in the family for a while, so it was fun to bring others into it.

Oh, favorite moment #6: The cake cutting! There was definitely a little icing-smearing, and our FG even got it on it (she was so excited to make a mess without getting in trouble. We didn't get a picture of it, but she got a huge smear of icing all the way down my arm!).

There were so many more great moments, but that's all I'm going to spam you guys with... for now.
