SOOO frustrated

I just received a note from the florist I was going to book saying that she will be overseas the week of my wedding. I am sooo upset!!! I worked so hard with her on what I wanted and now she's not available! I didn't like any of the other florists nearly as much....this is so upsetting. UGHHHHH back to the drawing board. I just hope that the other florists aren't booked at this point too!!!

That stinks! I can't believe after all of that she's not going to be there. Hopefully you will find someone else that you enjoy working with, and find them quickly. Best of luck!

That sucks! Good luck finding something else. If she drew up any sketches you should ask her for them. Yes, they are her work but it was your vision and she left you stranded!

I agree with PP's. She should help you find another florist since she worked so closely with you & bailed. At the very least, she should give you any sketches/notes she made.

I would be really upset! Why would she agree to do your wedding if she is going to be out of the country? Do you have a contract with her? Did you put down a deposit?? You need to get your money back as well as all plans and sketches. Honestly, if she is going to be this unprofessional, you don't want her for your wedding anyway.

Yeah...we'll see what she says. Ive e-mailed her back for recommendations but I'm just so bummed! We talked so much about what we wanted and even my FI loved her ideas!

Sorry, hopefully you will find a great florist. I think the hardest part is creating the vision. Now that you have the vision maybe you can describe that vision to someone else and they can execute it. Often florists have their specific vision, but they are professionals so if you come to them with a different vision they can still execute it beautifully.
