HI Ladies,
Thanks for taking the time to read this... I'm about to have a bride breakdown!! We have wanted since day 1 to have a photobooth, we've seen just about every photobooth in westchester and rockland over the past few months trying to narrow down our search.
we narrowed it down to two choices; and we contacted the Dj Company and asked to see one of their photobooths, they told us there wasn't one in their office but I could take my fiance to see it at a bridal show that weekend at the crown plaza in white plains. So my fiance and I went to WP, and there was no bridal show. When we called them back, they said how sorry they were and that they thought they were going to be there for this bridal show. This was strike one for me.
Then we got an email from them saying they were doing a half off promotion for a few hours. I asked my fiance to call and get the info since they had screwed us the day before. I think my fiance thought he was doing a good thing and he gave them our credit card # for a deposit on a booth for our day.
Now it's been over 2 weeks of trying to contact both Jason and Chelsea by phone and email and we haven't heard anything back. We have a vague contract that was sent to us by mail with just the price, our date, and time listed; no further details. We haven't signed it and sent it back because we can't get in touch with anyone.
What do you think I should do? Should I demand our deposit back since no one was returned calls/emails etc in over 2 weeks and I'm worried. Or have other people had similar experiences with them? I
Yesterday I got a call from someone with the photobooth lounge, asking if I was still interested, I said no thanks since we had already booked. I told him with who, and the next thing I know I have an email from him explaining all the negative things he's heard about the dj company; I don't know if he was just mad to have lost the sale or if he's serious.
I'm just nervous and this is one of the most important things for us to have at our reception and I've been telling everyone about it and now I don't know if its going to happen.
