shapewear.

I was just wondering, my dress doesn't have boning or anything, would it be a good idea to get an actual corset to wear?  The longline bra just makes my tummy poof out at the bottom and I don't like it, and really don't want it to show in pictures, even if nobody else can see it.

Ideas?

Re: shapewear.

  • Would the tummy poof actually be visible under the dress?  You could do control top panties or spanx to smooth out the line between the long line bra.

I'm not sure if it would or not.  In my head I think it would because my dress is really light and doesn't have a lot of material really.  That is a good idea, I will look into that.
  • I have the same issue..I bought a long line bra and I am getting extra coverage with spanx underneath...and I have a problem with spanx "rolling" at the waist, so the bra holds it all in place..good luck :)
  • Hi!

I'm using a soft corset that hooks in the front.  I got mine at Sears for about $20 and it works amazing.  It's not too uncomfortable either-it's only when I take it off do I realize how constricting it is!  This is a closeup of my shape when wearing it (I have a roll which is taken care of completely with this sucker!!
