I don't know about you but I feel like this week has been about 16 days long and I'm thankful that it's Friday! What are you up to this weekend?

Same! Toooo long. Hopefully I can get in a few good runs this weekend. I want to then lay around a bunch. WR goal: book honeymoon. NWR: help FI change his oil.

I hate this time of year. No good sports on.

Tonight I'm catching up on MUCH needed sleep. Last night was supposed to be my catch up night, but some jerk's car in our parking lot decided to have its alarm go off from 2am until I left for work at 7:55am. I'm SO grumpy today.

Tomorrow I get to drive down to Lansing to pick up my dress and do some bridesmaids dress shopping with my girls. Then my mom, sister, and best friend are coming north with me to stay the night and celebrate my birthday that's on Monday.

Sunday we're going to the bridal show at the Soaring Eagle since I have free tickets and I live a couple miles from it. I'm not sure how much luck I'll have there since most vendors will be mid-mich vendors, but I always have fun at bridal shows. And I like the free stuff. ;-)

See, this week actually flew by for me, but last week? Ugh.

Tonight just laying low I think. I need to write a couple TY notes for early shower gifts and maybe work on some wedding stuff -- but I also plan to spend a good chunk of my work day doing that so I may not need to do anything tonight :-)

Tomorrow - wedding shower for an old neighbor of FI's, running a couple errands, and then celebrating a friend's birthday in the evening.

Sunday - church and relaxing. Maybe even starting a new book!

Today: working and then probably just crashing. I'm exhausted from the long weekend.

Tomorrow: looking at more houses, going to the credit union *fingers crossed*, and then no idea.

Sunday: No idea but I bet working on invites will happen.

Happy Friday! Yes, it has been a very long week and I am happy that it is over.

Tonight my sister and I will be watching Breaking Dawn. I am very excited because I haven't seen it yet.

Tomorrow I am going to East Lansing to visit one of my best friends. I haven't seen her in a very long time so it will be fun.

Sunday I am going dress shopping for the first time! I am bringing my sister, my mom and my FMIL. I am more nervous than anything. I am also looking forward to seeing my FI's nephew later on. He is just so cute!

Tonight I'm travelling to Detroit from GR, going to see "The Dirty Show" (don't really know exactly what it is, but my friend asked if I wanted to go and said tickets were selling out quick, so I just made a snap-decision to go with her).

Tomorrow I get to try on dresses again, I'm more excited than I ever thought I would be about trying on wedding dresses. I'd reaaaaally like to get FI to get on top of touching base with caterers...but we'll see.

Sunday I'm meeting with Tammara of Grand Jour - I think I'm going to end up using her services just so I don't have a mental breakdown the day-of.

If I can fit a workout in at any point that would also be beyond awesome.

Tonight FH and I are going to his mom and dad's for his mom's birthday dinner. I'll be leaving Grand Rapids first thing tomorrow morning to head for Holly and visit my parents this weekend. My dress was delivered Monday night and I cannot wait to get my hands on it and try it on.

My sis will also be home so she, my mom, and I plan on going to see a movie and spend some time together - just us girls - while we have the chance.

I'll head back to GR and FH on Sunday night. I have Monday off of work, and FH works from home, so we'll spend Monday together hanging out before another busy work week starts.

Any other West Michigan ladies on here who are having an East Side wedding??

This week went by rather quickly for me and I couldn't be happier! I'm so thankful it's Friday, nonetheless, I'm headed up to the UP for snowshoeing but DH can't come. Luckily I have Monday and Tuesday off of work so I can spend time with him (but a smaller paycheck next Friday...)

I am also so happy Friday is here, I have a 3 day weekend which I am thrilled about.

Today: going to the gym and going out to dinner with friends we havent seen in a while. FI also wants me to get an enhanced license, so I think I may do that today as well.

Tomorrow: Going to the Novi bridal show at Suburban Showplace. Very excited and happy that I started with 2 very small bridal shows, so hopefully I will not be too overwhelmed. Saturday night were going to the Plymouth Whalers hockey game.

Sunday: Going to a jewelry party one of my friends is hosting and relaxing.

DH is hoping to join the state police, so we're going through the whole crazy background check process. Yesterday we got informed that the investigator wants to come over to our place for more interviews and to meet me. Today. So here I am, on my day off, all dressed up and sitting here in my very clean house, waiting for him to show. Ugh. It feels kind of crappy knowing you're going to be judged. :P

Tomorrow is mostly studying, and then on Sunday we're going to do fondue (for me) and Ghost Rider II (for him). Ah, compromise....

Today: Working on the house and then spending some much needed QT with my best friend(and MOH)! She's coming up for the weekend, I haven't seen her since August so I'm beyond excited! The guys are having a poker night and me and her are just going to catch up and watch chick flicks.

Saturday we are doing a bunch of WR stuff in the afternoon but then going out for dinner and drinks Saturday evening with a few couples.

Sunday=homework and ripping up the last bit of carpet in our master bedroom. We saved the stairs for last and I'm dreading them.

Nothing spectacular this weekend. Just found out that I have a bacterial infection and need meds for that, and will make an appointment for some counseling for Monday or Tuesday.

I get to leave work early today because FI and I are closing on our house at 4! I'm SO excited! So this weekend will be spent painting and cleaning and I've never been more thrilled about manual labor!

My FI is also going through background check process to be an officer. The detective told him he will be stopping by the neighborhood just checking things out so don't be worried if we see him. We never got a specific day, just a month time frame where it could happen, so you are lucky to be prepared for it! Good luck to your H!

Tonight: DH wants to finish painting the office which means I have to tape everything.

Tomorrow: Work in the AM and then I get to see my friend! She lives in Minnesota but she's in town for the weekend :)

I'm glad that I got a heads up, but it is now FIVE HOURS after he said he'd be here. I've got crap I needed to do today, and instead we've just been sitting around on our best behavior waiting for him. Good luck to your FI too! It seems like there are a lot of officers/officers-to-be among the FIs and DHs of this board.

ETA: he just came and went. Relatively painless. Now on to errands....

Funny thing is, I feel just fine! I started the meds this morning. I am going to get the rest of the test results on Monday and take it from there.

I DO need to write to my insurance company and get them to make a decision to either cover my shots or give me the addy of the Independent Review Organization so I can appeal to them. Tell me, if you had the choice of paying $300 a year for injections of depro provera for pain management or $14,000+ for a hysterectomy, which would you choose??
