On Mother's Day I had this minor little fender bender which ended up dominating my life for the past two weeks between insurance crap and a back injury that resulted several days later (those of you who are my FB friends have put up with my whining 
). Needless to say, wedding planning got sidelined but I'm back in the swing of things!
Photog - I *think* I found ours. She was recommended by some girls on the SW Florida board and I love her so far from our correspondence. I can only afford about $1500 for the photog, and I was feeling disappointed because I really didn't like the quality of photos I was finding for the price range. But this one is great! Her pics are awesome and....major bonus...she is originallly from Philly so we can meet her in person this summer when she travels up here before putting down a deposit.
DOC - I decided I need a DOC, for things like setting up our DIY centerpieces and overseeing the shuttling of guests to the reception location, as well as a bunch of other things that I'm sure will pop up that will make it well worth the expenditure. Last night and this morning I emailed about 4 or 5 that I saw on wedding wire and/or that were recommended on the SW FL board. Only one got back to me so far but she is very enthusiastic and I really like her a lot from the two emails. Her responses were very personal and detailed, with suggestions and information, so I feel like she's already helping me even though it's still very preliminary. I'll give the others some time to respond but so far she is far in the lead!
Guest list - I saw my parents this weekend and my mom gave me the OK to expand our reception budget in order to invite about a dozen people that I wasn't sure we'd be able to invite for budget reasons. I feel wayyy better about this now.
