  It's not in metro Detroit but I strongly recommend Becker's in Fowler.  They are amazing.  They have size 0 all the way up well into the 30s.  They have a large variety of Maggie Sottero and customer service is fantastic.

  I Do Too Bridal in Plymouth has a very nice selection of plus size dresses. That's actually where I found my dress and was plus size. I should also add that it was 2 sizes too small, but was able to get it on and the ladies clipped the dress to my bra so I could see what it was going to look like. I ended up ordering my dress from Dior Bridal in Dearborn, but I don't know what their sizes are there. I imagine they are sample size, which means no plus sizes. I highly rec going to I Do Too Bridal. The ladies there were so nice. Also, check the Maggie Sottero website to see if there is a trunk show coming to the area. I ordered mine during the trunk show and got 15% off the sales price.

  Eva's bridal in Garden City has an agreement with Maggie Sottero to get specific dresses shipped to them to try on. You have to pay for shipping, but if you buy one of the dresses, they put that money toward your dress. It's risky, but it's a last resort if nothing else.

  Dior does have some plus size dresses but not a ton.

  I do too in plymouth had a good selection of plus size but to save to your self sometime, I made a list of dresses that I really wanted to try on and called a few places to see what size they carried it in before driving there.

  I'm not sure what size you need but one of the dress I tried on at Dior in Dearborn was a 16. I would suggest calling and seeing if they have what you would need.

  I just fell in love with two maggie sottero dresses! The dresses were actually a little too big for me (I think they were rack size 22/24?), but I still loved them!
  
  I was able to try on the dresses at Elegance Bridal in Grand Rapids (I know that's not super helpful for you, but I travel back and forth from Detroit to Grand Rapids and vice versa often, so you never know)
