    1. I had my final fitting(the one right before they sew everything in place).  I haven't shown pictures because the person who took them didn't do all that great of a job taking them.  I may have better pictures next week( I guess I'll have to try the dress on again--poor me!) when I pick the dress up before I take it to have it cleaned.  I wanted to show off my bustle.

    2.  I have my order of service approved by both the Pastor who is marrying us and the music director at the church we are getting married. I almost have it done--I just have to finish it up in illustrator and convert it to PDF format, and e-mail it to him.

Moreover, our organist, who used to be like a grandmother to us both, wants to give us her services as a gift(she doesn't want us to pay her).  My FI doesn't find it acceptable--he wants to pay her anyway since she practically works for peanuts for this church and she is an amazing musician.  But honestly, I am okay with her giving this gift to us--we are already paying our trumpeters $200 a piece and I had thought of paying her more since she is doing all the organ work(the $300 I budgeted could be donated to the church and designated to their music program).  I have also thought of rejoining choir for this limited time before I leave this church for good and leave California the only reason I haven't mentioned it was she and I had a falling out years ago and its part of the past I don't want to rehash.

    3. I finally have redone our logo as a couple.  Which will be very similar to our gobo projection on our dance floor.

    4. We finalized our music after much deliberation.  We're going to be going with a hymn medeley of the great Lutheran/Christian Hymns in lieu of soloists so we're going to elicit the participation of our guests both as witnesses and members of the congregation.

    5. I finally started on our photo montage and figured out the software on my computer to do it.  I feel ashamed that I haven't taken advantage of this software over the years! It was so easy to figure out.

    6. I ordered my Fi's wedding band!  I am so happy he caved and decided to accept a wedding ring even though he initially didn't want one!  He talked to his coworkers and they all wear theirs, after I told him I talked to my parents and my dad specifically found him not getting a wedding ring(even though he rarely wears his) offensive. He went with a very traditional band, but in rose gold.  He likes it because it looks like the One Ring from Lord of the Rings(we're both Sci Fi and fantasy geeks so it fits especially since I have an Enchanted Forest theme to my reception).

    Here's a pic:

I have more things to do this week but the program with it's order of service is a big hurdle.  I have to actually print it out or determine where to print it too.
