For some reason ever since I was little, I always loved watching to rehearsal bow-quet get put together. Aside from the gifts, it will really make me feel like it's my wedding. It's a way I can take a little bit of everyone who's close to me down the aisle with me. For the rehearsal at least.

Kitten, it's a bouquet made out of all the bows and ribbons from the bridal shower. The bride carries it down the aisle for the rehearsal.

I had never heard about it either til my mom mentioned something to me. I am excited for that too! I think at this point it is really starting to hit me that I am actually getting married in two months! Woo!

I had my first shower this weekend, and everyone made completely sure I saved all my bows. I had totally forgetten about this, but they were adamant they all be kept. I only had like 3 or 4 bows though and they were all pink and purple pastels. lol We'll see if I get what I need at the next one!

I love the bow bouquet. I made one for my friends wedding earlier this summer. Too bad she forgot it at home and couldn't use it for the rehearsal.

ETA- I know it sounds crazy, but bring a glue gun to your shower and put the bows on that way, it makes it so much easier and they stay on.

Always remember that even if you don't get tons of bows this can be done. The plate can always be trimmed down to size! I can't wait to do this too!

A BM taped mine onto a plate at my shower, but they didn't stay, so I staped the crap out of everything when I got home to make sure it was secure.
