Dance Lessons in NYC

Hi ladies,

We are looking for a studio in the city where we can take a few dance lessons before the big day. We are not planning to do a choreographed number, but just need a little "brush up" lesson (or two!) so we look out best out there. Anyone have any suggestions - or know any places we should stay away from?

    I just took my first lesson yesterday with Anne Marie at wedding day dance.  She is awesome and she works out of several studios in New york city.

    We took a 4 class session (small group classes) of the Basic 6 (waltz, tango, salsa, rhumba, foxtrot, swing) at Sandra Cameron Dance Center down on Lafayette & Broome, and we loved it.  Take the thursday night class with Janice.  You won't be disappointed!

    Fred Astaire studios has a 2 private + one group lesson deal for 80 bucks but they really try to push you to get a package deal after each lesson.  If you can deal with that annoying aspect, definitely go for it.  My FI and I found it very helpful.
