cheap rehersal dinner

I'm looking for cheap rehersal dinner ideas for like 50 people. I was thinking about having like cousins or q'dobas catering or something like that. Hoping to keep it at just a couple hundred dollars. Any ideas or know what it will cost. Wedding is in October in Milwaukee

    If you are going to have it catered, where will you have everyone gather?  Will there be a room rental fee that might negate any savings?  Your idea has potential!  I would call a few places and see what they would suggest ordering to feed that number or people, but I bet it could be done in your budget.  Don't forget about drinks though!

    We had ours at the Oakland Trattoria on the east side and ordered salads, pasta, garlic bread, and pizzas for everyone.  I think we had 15 - 20 pizzas and with each we got a pitcher of beer or a pitcher of soda (our choice) to go with.  For 40 people, the room (no rental fee), the food, and the tip, we spent maybe 400.

    We are having a bbq at our house for our engagement party. We're had a similar size bbq party back in April and it only cost us about $200 for food & drinks for everyone. A lot of my bridesmaids I know would also bring something too, potluck style, if I asked them to.

    If you can host something at a private residence, you could do that type of catering and then a bonfire with s'mores in October.  :)

    We're going to BWW (Buffalo Wild Wings)! They're going to section off a portion of the restaurant for us. You have to talk to a manager if you want this type of thing because their front line employees tell you it's not possible. It certainly is.

    We are having ours at the party room at Pizza Hut.  Large pizzas are just $10.
