guest book--ideas??

I almost forgot!! I also almost forgot to buy a cake topper. Turns out planning a wedding and starting a business in one year is kind of tough, lol.

did you buy yours? make it? I'd love to hear about it or see pics if you have them on hand. Thanks!

I got a guestbook from esty. It's a tree and you sign the leaves, then I plan to hang it up in the basement living room with wedding pictures and keep adding to it collage style as our family grows...

Esty shop was VERY fast, I got the proof the next day, and it was at my house maybe 3 days later.

We're doing a photo guestbook from shutterfly. We are having 200-240 people so we purchased the monster book 12 x 12 and 50 pages.

We aren't doing a cake topper. Just sugar flowers.

I made vintage-looking postcards with our venue on the front, and will assemble all of them into a book with all the free time I'll have once I'm not doing wedding crap anymore.

ETA: And I made our cake topper. I thought I had a picture saved of it, but I don't. Oh well. I made nesting dolls that look like FI and I to honor his Ukranian heritage.

I made a leaf out of coin envelopes. Our guests will write notes to us on business card size paper and then find an envelope to put it in and seal it. This will give us the chance to go through and read all the little notes after our minimoon, and then we'll be able to frame the leaf and hang it on a wall in our house!

I'm putting out pieces of nice paper in a few different sizes for people so sign or leave notes on and we're going to put them in the box we are using for our 'love letter ceremony'.

Our photographer made our guest book for us from our e-pics... looks wonderful... should be in any day now...

our cake comes with the venue... I don't remember what the topper is but it was nice lol

We made a photobook of our e-pics on Picboo for our guestbook.

We aren't having a cake topper, it's really not necessary.

I got a postersize frame with an autograph matte in it for people to sign. One of our Epics will go in there during the wedding, and we'll replace it with a wedding photo and display it afterward.

I also did a guest book from picaboo. They run great specials and the books are so easy to make. Mine should be arriving today or tomorrow!

As for a cake topper, I am just doing silk flowers.

We had someone on Etsy custom make us a guestbook with our colors (pink and orange flowers with champagne and black everything else) and she is scattering little gnomes in it (a nod to something that FI likes). I haven't gotten it yet, expect it to arrive any day now. As for our cake topper, it is a gnome couple; our photographer also used them to make our STD postcards. We really got our money's worth out of them.
