  Hmm I think for that length of time that's a bit high.  I contacted a few in our area recently, here are some prices I got so you can compare:

  
  

  1) MDJ Entertainment

  5.5 hours (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) = $1025

  
  

  2) Elite Entertainment

  4 hours (they will add in cocktail hour free of charge) = $1750

  
  

  3) Time of Your Life Entertainment

  4 hours = $900

  5 hours = $1000

  5.5-6 hours = $1075

  We're only paying $200 for ours since our Best Man is a DJ by trade :-) Most DJs around here charge $600-900 depending on what you want.
