Groomsmens' gifts- Help please :)

Hey girls!

FI and I have been trying to figure out what to give the groomsmen for the gifts. Girls are so easy- I got earrings for the girls. But the problem I'm finding is that a lot of the gifts have to do with alcohol- flasks, beer mugs etc etc. I don't want to "condone" carrying around alcohol in your pocket. I would really really rather stay away from ideas like that. We also thought about cuff links and stuff, but then again- they will never wear them after the wedding.

Anybody have suggestions!? Thanks <3
There's only 1 way 2 say those 3 words and that's what I'll do... I love you Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Is there anything the Groomsmen and your FI like to do together? Like do they all share a common interest?

FI knows his boys don't really care about getting anything material (no one drinks and the flasks were out from the start, haha) so FI is treating all his groomsmen to basically just a fun day of stuff they like to do. They're going to play videogames, go paintballing, get pizza, play music, etc.

That may not work for some people but in our situation, it's perfect!

FI also bounced around the idea of getting them nice ties or fun t-shirts.

In all honesty, I think the boys are harder to shop for than the girls!! I wish I had more advice! Good luck!

DH did do alcohol related gifts for his GM's for the most part. He gave them all a bottle of their favorite liquor, but one of the GM's isn't a big drinker (he's trying to become a cop) so instead DH got him tickets to a baseball game instead since he loves sports (like a diehard fan). He also gave them each a picture frame which they could fill after the wedding with a picture of all the guys that DH sent afterwards.

He did a little something extra for his best man, his best friend, and my brother.. he got them engraved cigar holders and beer mugs since they were there for him more and really helped out.

If you're completely staying away from alcohol related gifts, I'd go the way of sports or concert tickets or like pp mentioned a day or night out with all the guys that's your FI's treat.

For my BM's I gave them all necklace and earring sets (I know those aren't really a gift if they have to wear them in the wedding so I did some other extras) an initial wine glass since our first get together was at a local winery to do a wine tasting, a picture frame of all of us girls that said "The Girls" on it, and I treated them to mani/pedis the day before the wedding. I also made a scrapbook for my MOH of us over the years as her something extra for being my MOH.

AH (almost husband :o) ) got his guys nerf guns.  The runner up was remote controlled cars.

We went this way because neither of us are drinkers so like you a lot of those kinds of gifts were not on the table for us and the GM are age 17-37 and at very different points in their life.

I actually can't wait till they get them at the RD, I have a feeling there is going to be a nerf war and I want the pictures!

We got the guys ties to where at the wedding, and my fiance is also getting them each a bottle of Frank's hot sauce and some tums.  It is kinda goofy, but they dont really need anything.  So we are going more for a fun gift!

We were having the same difficulties. Everything we saw for groomsmen was either related to alcohol, cigars, or golf. We aren't really into any of those things haha. Finally FI decided (I think) on gym bags, possibly embroidered with their initials. Most of the GM's work out, and those who don't can always use it for an overnight bag.
