More song questions....

Are any of you walking to the same song as your bridesmaids? I have two girls and think it may be too short to change it.

Re: More song questions....

  • I'm pretty sure my sister did at her wedding a few years  ago, if I had a wedding party I would be walking to the same song as them.
It doesn't have to be perfect to be everything I want!

  • Yes, I am. We have chosen "When I say I do" by Matthew West.  The aisle at the church isn't very big and I have 3 bridesmaids so changing the song wouldn't make sense.  Plus, we love the meaning of the song and want the whole thing played:)
  • I'm switching songs, but I have a long aisle AND 6 bridesmaids!

We're not, but it's a shorter aisle and I have 2 gals, we're using John Lennon's 'Grow Old Along with Me' and it's a particular version that FI wanted so they'll walk and then we'll do a big pause to allow it to build how we'd like and then I'll walk out for the last 30 seconds or so of the song. :-)

  • I don't think we'll be switching. I am pretty sure the really short aisle will easily accommodate two attendants, a RB and FG -and me! I even walk realllllllllllly slowly anyway!

  • I only have 2 girls as well, I chose an instrumental for them (butterfly waltz) that the DJ is just going to fade out when its my turn.  This way you're not cutting words or anything off.

  • I am! We're using Clair de Lune by Debussy. It's far too beautiful to only hear 30 seconds of it.

    Who's verison are you using?
  • It is only my daughter (my MOH) and me (escorted by my son) walking down the very short aisle. We'll do it to the same song.
Just my two cents! Penny L G M
  • I have 4 BMs, and a RB/FG (they'll walk together). We're all doing the same song. It's a long song. The name of it's "In Loving Memory" by Phil Coulter, it's a beautiful instrumental.

  • My cousin used the same song for her bridal party and for her. Only the bridal party was instrumental and when she walked it wasn't. Her song was Marry Me, Train.

For our wedding we are not using the same song.
