NWR (sort of): Spa recommendation

I am wondering if any of you is living in the Avon/Farmington area and can recommend a spa?  I found Noella, Bella, La Belle Chateau, Victoria's Beauty and Spa, Oasis and European Day Spa.  Just wondering if any of you have experiences with any of them.

    I have no experiences with any of those places, but my BM and I are going to Bontanicals Day Spa in Avon the day before my wedding (and probably before then too).

    I haven't been there yet, but my MOH was just there on Friday and really liked it.  She said it was very nice there and she felt very pampered and everyone was super sweet.  I would like to go once before we go for my wedding, maybe early June before my shower.

    My MOH highly reccommended it, but I will be happy to give you my own rec once I go!

    what are you looking to have done?

    i usually got to Noella for nails, but it's not really a spa...it's just a nail place.  It's clean and reasonably priced.  The one in Farmington is much much bigger than the Avon one.

    Victorian Day Spa is ok...i used to go there for waxing, but stopped.  They kept switching the person who I had an appointment with.  So i'd expect to be waxed by person A, but i'd get there and find out that B was going to do it instead, and that she was going to be 15 minutes late.  So i switched places.  A friend of mine swears by them for massages.  I want to say she goes to Heather, but i could be wrong.

    My favorite spa is by FAR Body & Sole Say Spa in West Hartford.  they are GREAT, i've gone there for years.  all the girls are super nice and their services are always perfect!

    Ok, I made an appointment for a Swedish massage with Botanicals for next Friday, will let you all know what my experience is :)

    I really like Noella for nails but I agree with starrbuk13, it's not a "spa" per se.  These other recommendations are great though!
