Changing your colors

Has anyone ever changed their colors with only 25 days left til the wedding day ? My colors were pool blue (mix of blue/ green ) silver and yellow(sunflower yellow . I'm changing the pool blue to the malibu ( a bold vibrant blue) . Any thoughts other than I'm crazy and my wedding planner is going to be bald by the time this is over ....

Re: Changing your colors

  • Why are you chaning your colors and how will this change affect everything?

  • Can you keep it and just incorporate the Malibu?
My colors included Malibu originally and you won't believe how hard it is find things in Malibu.

  • So wait, if you have already made the switch, what are you asking us?

  • I think the colors are close enough that you will be fine. People aren't going to have your MOH stand beside everything and make sure it matches. They are people and aren't decorating props.

<div>Does it matter what she thinks?  You're paying her to provide you with a service.  As long as she provides it and you pay her, no harm done.  If she already ordered materials in the other color and now has to order in the new color, most planners would have the customer pay for that exchange since it is their overall decision.  If she puts up a big stink about it, then she probably isn't a very nice person to be working with anyway.  Get through the wedding day and move on with your life.</div>
  • It sounds like you already made the switch. As a PP said, people aren't going to put your MOH next to everything to make sure the blues match. I tihnk it will be fine.

Prior to wedding planning I had no idea there were so many damn shades of blue.  (and yes, I did own the big box of crayons growing up...)

  • Yup, I think you're a little crazy for changing the colors with only 25 days left. But, if you can pull it off, kudos to you!
